What You See from the Coach

The 1.5-hour narrated drive passes Yosemite Falls, the tallest waterfall in North America at 2,425 ft, El Capitan, which rises over 3,000 ft above the valley floor, Half Dome, Bridalveil Fall and Sentinel Dome, with the best vantage point at Inspiration Point. You see these from the coach or short viewpoint stops rather than on foot. There is no Tunnel View walk listed beyond photo opportunities, no sequoia grove and no hike.

If you want to stand under a giant sequoia, this is not the tour for it.

Not for Everyone

The day runs 15 hours and pickup comes early, in the 5-6 AM window typical of these tours, which is hard on small children and on anyone who struggles with long rides.
